Halal Market located in Skokie may look like a small corner store but they have EVERYTHING! The expert butcher Abu-Bakaar gets all prime and the best meat quality you'll find anywhere (baby chickens, goat, beef and veal). He takes a lot of pride in his work and you won't find any cleaner, leaner and top cuts of meat anywhere! There is no smell as everything is super fresh and he packages the meat neatly in bags the way you request so it's ready for your freezer! They have everything Pakistani and Indian that you could ever need! From frozen prepared items, plenty variety of rices, flours, pulses, spices, sweets, pickles, housewares and beauty products! All items on the shelves are fully stocked and all product is rotated properly. The store and butcher area is super clean and that's why we travel 25 miles to get our meat here! They also do catering and sell ready made dishes from the fresh cut meat they get in the morning. Everyone loves their chicken biryani and it sells out fast. We tried the chicken 65 and chili chicken and it's the best we've tasted in a very long time! Parking is directly in front of the store and parking on the side of the store is allowed on weekends.
